HALL OF FAME - H T "Tom" Warhurst

(1935-1947)

A truly great sportsman

A strong marking and reliable defender who could be just as strong and reliable when playing up forward.

Tom debuted in 1935 and was the club's Best and Fairest in 1939 before embarking on military service. If not for this, his team mate Sam Gallagher believed that he could have been anything on the football field.
