1898 First Magarey Medal

Albert Green started with Norwood in 1893, playing mainly as a rover.  He was a fine all-round sportsman and, it was said, “a gentleman”.  He played cricket, rowed in the head of the river, was a champion tennis player, athlete and marksman, and won the inaugural Magarey Medal in 1898.
