BIO
Peter Adey came to Norwood, having previously played for the Rostrevor College First 18, and then for Christian Brothers Old Collegians in the Amateur League.
He had shown great promise in Norwood's 1969 pre-season trials, but a serious knee injury sustained playing against Subiaco delayed his League debut.
After missing the entire 1969 season, Adey played the opening rounds of 1970 in the Reserves. He finally played his first senior game in Round 3, 1970 as a half back flanker. Norwood eventually defeating South Adelaide 14.16 to 12.24.
Adey played his last game for the Redlegs later that season. Ironically it was also against South Adelaide; again the Redlegs were victorious on the Adelaide Oval, but on this occasion Adey played on a wing.
