BIO
Matthew Bartemucci made his debut with the league team in 2000 when he played three games, followed by eleven the following year before gaining a regular place as a half forward/ wingman in 2002.
His connection with Norwood however, commenced in 1992 when he represented the club in the mini league at Adelaide Oval. Much later he joined the club, progressing through the under 15s, under 17s, under 19s to the Reserves in 1998. In that same year he made the State under 18 team together with Nic Fosdike, Scott Borlace and Matt Pavlich.
Bartemucci was a hard hitting, skillful player with an accurate left foot kick especially when in sight of goals. During a period when the team struggled, he was an outstanding forward who made the most of limited opportunities and was the leading goal kicker in 2004.
