BIO

Originally from the Murray Bridge Ramblers Football Club, Simon Cowham was educated at Prince Alfred College. He began his league career with North Adelaide, playing 10 games between 1987 and 1988.

Cowham then spent time away from the SANFL, playing three seasons with Adelaide University in the South Australian
Amateur Football League.

After deciding to join Norwood, his progress was hampered by two shoulder operations and a 12 month stay in England.

By 1994 however, the polished wingman had become a regular league player and was an important component of the Redlegs line-up.

His last league game was in the 1995 First Semi-Final against North Adelaide. Although Norwood won the encounter and thus advanced through to the Preliminary final, Cowham suffered a knee injury during the win, and subsequently missed the following game.
