Originally from Tasmania, Jake Cresswell played junior football for Clarence and the Murray Bushrangers.
In 1922 he played two league games for South Adelaide but transferred to the Redlegs in 2023, making his senior debut in round eight against Central District at the Elizabeth Oval
Strong overhead, tenacious and with an impressive work ethic, the hard running wingman played five league games for the Redlegs in his first year at The Parade.
The following season he made 20 appearances for the seniors including the losing Grand Final against Glenelg.
Cresswell moved to North Adelaide in 2025 and continued his development with the Roosters.
His father Daryn was a star for the Sydney Swans (244 AFL Games,1992-2003)
