Harrison Cross was recruited by Norwood from the Modbury Football Club and in 2013 played nine games in the Norwood under 16s and was runner-up in the best and fairest award. "Crossy", as he was known, also played 12 games for the under 18s in the same season.

The following year Cross continued his development in the under 18s, was runner-up in the best and fairest and had a taste of reserves football.  

A hard and skilful back pocket/half-back flanker capable of having a run on the ball, Cross continued to impress. He made his league debut in Round 4 of 2015, and played 10 senior games in his first year. 

During 2015 he was included in the SANFL State under 18 squad.

However, he spent most of 2016 in the reserves (19 games) and only managed two appearances in the league side.

He later returned to the Modbury Hawks in the South Australian Amateur Football League.
