Davis made his league debut in Round 6, 2013. His 15 reserves appearances yielded 35 goals, making him the leading goal-kicker for the Norwood Reserves in 2013.
An excellent contested mark, "LD" provided Norwood with a safe route to goal.
The strongly built key-forward continued his meteoric rise during 2013 and played in Norwood's league premiership victory against North Adelaide, in only his seventh game.
In 2014, Davis not only became a regular in the league team (20 games), but also played in another flag for the Redlegs. He kicked three goals in a low-scoring match and was an important member of the side which defeated Port Adelaide in a thrilling Grand Final on the Adelaide Oval.
He made 19 appearances in 2015.
Davis then took some time away from the game, hoping to regain his enjoyment of SANFL football.
In 2016 he decided to join Payneham Norwood Union in the South Australian Amateur Football League
