Ross Duffy joined Norwood for the 1992 season and made his senior debut for the Redlegs under league coach Neil Craig in a Foundation Cup match (pre-season competition) against South Adelaide at Broken Hill.
 
That was to be his only senior match for the club, although he also played seven games for the Reserves later in the year.
 
Duffy had played for North Hobart in 1990, and was drafted by Collingwood in the 1991 pre-season draft.
 
He had also been at Melbourne in 1986 and North Ballarat. He later played at Shepparton
