Codey Ellison had already played league football for South Adelaide (2016 / 2017, 21 games) before he joined Norwood.
A ruckman/tall forward, he had stints with Reynella FC (Southern Football League) and McLaren FC (Great Southern Football League),before transferring to the Redlegs in 2020.
Ellison made his league debut for Norwood in round 3, 2020 and played nine games for the season.
