Davin Ferreira approached Norwood in 2015 to see if he could join the club and try out. He had won a premiership with the Wanderers Football Club in the 2014-2015 Northern Territory Football League season.

The Year 12  Rostrevor College boarder made an exciting league debut for the Redlegs in round 10, 2015, kicking three goals and looked a ready-made footballer.

He played three league games in his first year at The Parade.

Predominantly a half forward/wingman, the indigenous Northern Territory youngster was quick, skilful and cool under pressure.

Ferreira made another 11 league appearances in his second season with Norwood.

He has since had stints with the Wanderers FC (NTFL) , NT Thunder in the North East AFL and Cairns City Lions (AFL Cairns).
