BIO

Peter Goodale was recruited from Renmark in 1970. A tall wingman/centreman he was quick and mobile for his size, but struggled to hold a regular spot in the League side.

He was named in the centre in the Norwood Reserves 1970 Grand Final win against North Adelaide, and on a half back flank in the 1972 Reserves Premiership win, also against North Adelaide.

Goodale served in the Vietnam War, and later joined the Regular Army. After being transferred to Melbourne, he was forced into an early SANFL retirement in 1972.
