BIO

Chris Grigg played his junior football for Norwood-Morialta High School before joining the Redlegs in 1983. He made his League debut in his first year, and later in that season was a member of the Reserves side, coached by Glen Rosser, that played off in the Premiership decider.

Midway through 1984, Grigg left Norwood to join the Athelstone Football Club in the South Australian Football Association and enjoyed remarkable success.
He was named Athelstone's Best and Fairest on seven occasions, won the Harford medal as best player in the Association, played in two Premierships, and represented the Association in 1990, 1992, 1993 and 1994.

Chris' sons have also represented the Norwood Football Club; Mitchell was a member of Norwood's 2013 Premiership team and is on the Adelaide Crows' senior list, while Ryan has represented the club at Under 16s level.
