BIO
After playing 34 games for Claremont (1975-78) in the WAFL, Brenton Hartfield was leased to North Adelaide in 1979. At the completion of the 1980 season, and having played 33 games for the Roosters, he transferred to Norwood.
Born in Maitland, the long kicking key forward, was also capable of having a run in the ruck.
In 1982, Hartfield kicked nine goals in a round three clash against South Adelaide at the Parade. He had been a late inclusion for the match and kicked six goals straight in an amazing last quarter.
Unfortunately, his stay at Norwood was short-lived however. Hartfield resigned after being left out of the League team which lost to Sturt, in round eight 1982.
He was cleared to Glenelg, and played another 10 League games for the Tigers.
