BIO
Tim Hazell was born in Tasmania and attended The Hutchins School in Hobart.
In 1999 he was drafted by Hawthorn from the Southern Districts Football Club (Tasmania).
Hazel played five AFL games for the Hawks in 2001, before he was finally delisted in 2004. He was then picked up in the 2004 Rookie Draft by the Adelaide Crows.
Norwood selected him in that season's mini-draft, and he played 20 games in his one year with the Redlegs. A good mark and penetrating kick, he played forward or as a midfielder.
Injuries had severely damaged his AFL ambitions, and at the end of 2004 he was delisted by Adelaide, without playing a game.
Hazel joined Port Melbourne (VFL) in 2005 and later also played for the Tasmanian Devils Football Club in the VFL.
