BIO
Tim Hoile transferred to Norwood from the Glenelg reserves in 1980 and the key forward played 11 games for the Norwood reserves in his first year.
In 1981 Hoile made his league debut mid-season but also played 21 games for the reserves, kicking 34 goals to lead the reserves goal-kicking.
The following season he played another four games in the seniors and won the reserves best and fairest award (17 games).
Despite his fine form, Hoile struggled to find a regular league spot in the strong Norwood sides of the 80s.
He played another six games in the reserves in 1983, and 19 in 1984.
Hoile then had a successful stint with Edwardstown in the SAFA (South Australian Football Association).
