BIO

Jack Holbrook first represented the Norwood Football Club in 1887 and  also played for Adelaide and Gawler.
 
Noted as a calm, clever and unselfish follower/forward, he played 9 seasons for the club.
 
After touring Victoria and Tasmania with the Norwood Football Club in 1891, he was among Norwood's best players in the premiership deciding match against Port Adelaide later in the season.
 
He was again high in Norwood's best players in the Grand Final replay of 1894 against South Adelaide.
 
A most consistent performer, he represented South Australia against Victoria in 1892 and 1893.
