BIO
From Millicent in the South-East, Martin Kahl first played for the Genelg Under 19's. In 1977, after two seasons in the Glenelg Reserves Kahl decided to move back home.
He rejoined Glenelg in 1979, but eventually transferred to Norwood in 1980, playing under new coach Neil Balme.
The rangy ruckman made his League debut against North Adelaide in Round 8, 1980. After four games he unfortunately suffered a hamstring injury and was left out of the senior team for the remainder of the season.
Kahl played his next (and final) League match in Round 9, 1981 - again at Football Park, and once again versus North Adelaide - the Redlegs winning 17.19 to 13.5.
In 1982 he moved to the Athelstone Football Club.
