BIO

Born in Port Augusta, Stephen Keam progressed through South Adelaide's junior ranks, making his League debut in 1975. He was an important member of the South side that was runner-up to Port Adelaide in 1979.
 
After playing 114 games for the Panthers, he joined the Norwood ranks for the 1984 season.
 
Keam played his first League game for the Redlegs in Round three 1984. After recovering from an early season thigh injury, he settled into the League side as a back pocket. Unfortunately however, he damaged the lateral ligament in his right knee in Round 15 and did not play League football again.
 
He did return to play some Reserves football. In 1985, after recovering from a groin strain, Keam was listed in a 24 man squad that easily accounted for Woodville in the Reserves Grand Final. 
 
After leaving Norwood, Keam coached at several clubs in the Southern Football League, including  Aldinga, Happy Valley, Mitchell Park, and Reynella. He has also had stints with St Peter’s Old Collegians in the South Australian Amateur Football League,  and with the North Adelaide and South Adelaide Under 19's.
