BIO
Originally from the Surfers Paradise Football Club, Aaron Keating transferred from South Adelaide to Norwood in 1996.
The solid two metre ruckman, with his trademark helmet, had played six League games for the Panthers (1994-95). He had been their best player, in its loss to Norwood in the 1995 Reserves Grand Final.
Keating was drafted by the Adelaide Crows at the end of the 1996 season.
1997 was the highlight of his football career. Keating was a member of both the Crows and Norwood premiership teams. He played for the Adelaide Crows against St. Kilda in the AFL Grand Final and then for the Redlegs against Port Adelaide in the SANFL premiership decider a week later.
Keating's AFL career came to an end in 1998 after only six senior games, but he continued at the Parade for another two seasons.
His brother Clark, played in three AFL premierships for the all-conquering Brisbane Lions (2001-2003)
