BIO
Ryan Key was educated at Rostrevor College, and first played three games for Norwood's Under 17 team.
Key progressed to the Under 19's in 2001-2002, playing 18 and 11 games, respectively.
In 2003, he developed into a competitive, rebounding back-pocket player for the reserves. His good form not only earned him State Under 20's selection, but also five senior games which included his league debut, mid-season.
He was restricted to reserves football in 2004, and then played three league matches and 17 reserves in 2005. Key was runner-up in Norwood's 2005 reserves best and fairest.
He played 16 matches for the reserves in 2006, reaching his 50 game milestone in that grade
