Jai Larkins joined Norwood in 2021, having previously played with the Queensland North East AFL clubs Maroochydore, Sandgate and Redlands.

A rebounding defender/ midfielder with a strong kick, Larkins had the ability and speed to take the game on.

He was a consistent performer for the Norwood reserves playing 16 games in 2021, and 15 in 2022 when he also won the Reserves best and fairest award.

Larkins made his senior debut in round 17, 2022 and played three league games for the year.

He was also named in the 25 man squad for the league Grand Final against North Adelaide.

The following season he made 13 league appearances playing for Central District.

His father, Trevor Larkins, played for Richmond in the VFL and West Adelaide in the SANFL.
