A close friendship with Norwood captain Anthony Harvey, helped lure Jason Marsh to The Parade. The former St. Kilda Reserves forward was strongly built with an accurate kick.
 
His League debut was against Port Adelaide (Alberton Oval) in Round 11, 1999 - the Redlegs winning the encounter: 15.12 to 10.14. The following week he kicked 5.2 against Central District, at Football Park. Later in the season he missed five weeks with a groin strain.
 
In 1999, Marsh was the leading goalkicker in Norwood's Reserves.
 
Unfortunately, he succumbed to osteitis pubis in 2000, and missed the entire season.

Marsh returned to Seaford on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, worked hard on his rehabilitation, and came back to Norwood a slimmer footballer for the start of the 2001 season. He played another six senior games, but spent a lot of the year in the Reserves.

Jason "Super" Marsh then moved back to Victoria, and was a key player for the Seaford Football Club in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League for many seasons.
