Graham Nash transferred to Norwood from the Payneham Football Club in the amateur league division two.
The full forward was a noted goal-scorer. In 1954 he kicked 17 goals against Teachers College in the last game of the second division amateur league minor round, bringing his season's tally to 118 goals.
Earlier in the year, he was named in the South Australia amateurs team to play Western Australia in Perth.
Nash made his Norwood league debut in round three 1955 and played eight games in his first season with the Redlegs.
His last senior game was in round 10 in the same year.
Nash returned to Payneham in 1956 and was the leading goal-kicker in the first division amateur league.
