BIO

Brett Neagle, younger brother of Rick, was an attacking half-back flanker who played two league games in three seasons with Norwood.

Born on 14 February 1964, Brett was educated at St Peter's College, where he was a ruck-rover alongside ruckman Stephen Trigg. Brett's first sporting love was water polo, but his strong physique served him well at Norwood.

He played in the Norwood Colts and then 47 Reserves games from 1984 to 1986, mainly as a defender though he did kick one goal.

After Norwood he played with Angaston before moving to Melbourne as a social worker.

The Neagle brothers’ father, Ric, played for Norwood Junior and Senior Colts between 1953 and 1955.
