BIO

Originally from Norwood High School, Peter O'Connor was an outstanding mark, who played predominantly as a half forward or full forward.
 
He had the misfortune to have his leg broken whilst at school, and again while representing Norwood.
 
O'Connor played almost the entire 1971 season in Norwood's Reserves, but made his senior debut in round nine of that season, against Central District. He only added one more league appearance to his career tally, but continued playing for the Reserves until 1974.
 
After leaving Norwood, O'Connor played for the Athelstone Football Club in the SAFA (South Australian Football Association) competition.
