BIO
Christopher Olsson was recruited by Norwood from the Tea Tree Gully Football Club and in 2014 he played for the Norwood Under 16 team.
The following year Olsson starred in the under 18s when he played 19 games, was runner-up in the best and fairest award and was an important member of the Redlegs Under 18 premiership team.
In 2016 he made another six appearances for the under 18s and progressed to the reserves (16 games). He was also included in the South Australian Under 18 National Championships initial squad.
Slightly built, he was quick and agile and capable of playing as a wingman, small forward or in the midfield.
Olsson made his league debut in Round 13, 2017. He played six senior games in his first season and took out the club's rising star award, the McCallum Trophy .
He struggled to cement a senior spot in 2018, playing four league games and 17 reserves . Unfortunately that trend continued in 2019 with two league and 18 reserves games.
However, he did play in another Norwood premiership when the Redlegs defeated Woodville-West Torrens in the 2019 Reserves Grand Final. He was named on a wing.
Looking to play regular league football, Olsson then moved to the Central District FC in 2020.
