Tom Pinyon came to Norwood in 2020 from Mount Compass in the Great Southern Football League.

In 2019  he had kicked 129 goals from 21 appearances, and in 2018, scored 91 goals from 20 games.

Pinyon had a taste of SANFL football in 2017, playing for the Adelaide Crows as a Development Squad member (7 games/14 goals).

He played 14 games for the Redlegs in the shortened 2020 season and was the club's leading goal scorer with 26 majors.

A focal point in the forward lines with a strong mark and excellent kick, the big man showed promise in his only season at The Parade.

He returned to Mount Compass due to family and work commitments, and in 2021 kicked another 88 goals from 17 matches.
