BIO

Jake Pitman joined Norwood from the Golden Grove Football Club in the Adelaide Footy League.

In 2014 he played 10 games for the Norwood under 18s  and was adjudged the club's under 16s most valuable player.

He progressed to the reserves in 2015 (10 games) and also played an important role in the Redlegs under 18 grand final victory.

A fearless and tough onballer, Pitman was a strong tackler with excellent disposal skills.

He made his league debut in round 16 of the 2016 season and played four senior games for the year as well as 10 games for the reserves.

Pitman was prominent for South Australia in the 2016 AFL national under 18 championships and it was thought he would quickly develop into a regular league footballer.

However, he returned to Golden Grove and became a key player in that club's push up the grades of the Adelaide Footy League.
