BIO

Educated at Prince Alfred College, Brian Harold Pittman was a solidly built sportsman.
 
Better known as a cricketer, he represented the State as a batsman, and played district cricket for East Torrens, and later for Kensington when the boundaries were altered.
 
Pittman played for the Norwood Reserves from 1949 to 1951, predominantly as a follower.
 
His two League games were in 1949 in rounds 5 and 6.
 
Brian is the father of former Norwood and Adelaide Crows ruckman David Pitman (Norwood,  69 SANFL games, 1989 - 1995;  Adelaide Crows, 131 AFL games, 1992-1999.
