Damien Prouse had a solid season in 1989, playing 19 games for the Norwood reserves.

The following season he made his senior debut, playing four games in the Foundation Cup pre-season competition .

He also appeared 13 times for the Norwood Under 19 team that went on to win the 1990 premiership.

Well built, Prouse had the versatility to play in most positions on the ground. 

Prouse played another two league games in 1991, as well as 16 in the reserves.
 
He appeared briefly for the Reserves in 1992 when he recorded three games.
