BIO
Gavin Roberts played some under 17s football at The Parade in 2006, and added another 12 games in 2007. He continued to develop in the junior grades, and in 2008 was awarded the under 17s coaches trophy. He also played nine games for the under 19s during the year.
In 2009 he played 12 games in the newly formed SANFL under 18 competition.
Roberts made his league debut in the opening round of the 2010 season and played in the first four rounds.
A highly skilled footballer, he was capable of playing in defence or in attack.
He was selected by Fremantle in the 2010 AFL rookie draft but unfortunately was delisted at the end of 2012 without playing a senior game, chronic injuries having severely hampered his chances.
While at the Dockers, Roberts played one league game with Perth in the West Australian Football League.
