BIO
Justin Scripps transferred to Norwood from Glenelg for the start of the 2000 season. Originally from Shepparton, Victoria, the left-footer had played 68 games for Glenelg from 1995 to 1999, and headed the Tigers goal-kicking in 1997 and 1998.
Scripps moved to the Parade under newly appointed Norwood coach Neville Roberts. An experienced goal-kicking forward, Scripps was recruited to boost the Redlegs
forward line.
He made his senior debut for Norwood in the opening round of 2000, but his season was hampered by injury and he only played two more League games for the club.
Scripps also played 14 Reserves games and won the Reserves 2000 goal-kicking award with 33 goals.
He eventually returned to Glenelg after his playing days were over and has had stints as a coach's assistant at League and Reserves level, as well as Football Director.
