BIO

Thomas Tapp played just one game for Norwood in 1914 and does not appear to have played any Reserves games.

Thomas was born to Thomas Wright Tapp and Louisa Ransom in Aldgate on 24th June 1893. He was one of six children having four sisters and one brother .

Tapp enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) on 30 November 1915. He served in France and was promoted to Corporal and then Sergeant before returning to Australia in April 1919

Employed as a clerk, he married Jean McGregor at Norwood in 1921 and they had two sons and two daughters.


Thomas Tapp died at Largs Bay on 21st December 1977 aged 84 and is buried at Cheltenham Cemetery
