BIO

Brad Vassal grew up in Modbury Heights and attended Pedare College. He was selected in Norwood's development squad and in 2000/2001 played Under 17's. He progressed to the Under 19's and Reserves in 2002 when he also worked as a groundsman at the Norwood Oval.

Noted for his strong work ethic, Vassal set a fine example for the rest of the players. He had a solid start to the 2004 season, playing with confidence and anticipation off the half-back line. He made his league debut as a 20 year-old against Woodville-West Torrens in round 15, 2004.

He played five league games for the season, another 11 in 2005, and four in 2006.
A fine clubman, Vassal made 65 appearances for the Norwood Reserves between 2002 and 2006, winning the 2004 and 2006 best and fairest awards.

He then transferred to Sturt and added another 23 senior games, before having a short stint in the country.

Vassal later moved to Darwin and represented Wanderers (NTFL) and NT Thunder (NEAFL)
