Arthur Brooklyn Clare Weller played league 10 games for Norwood from 1920 to 1921 and was cleared to Sturt in 1924 where he went on to play 82 games. 

Arty Weller, as he was known, later returned to the Parade as coach of the Norwood Association team (Reserves) in 1940 and 1941

In October 1915 he enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) and was wounded in action in France in 1917. Weller returned to Australia in 1919 and was discharged in April 1920.
