BIO

From Harrogate , John White played for Norwood in the Thirds 1971 Premiership win. He then played in his first Reserves flag in 1972, before making his League debut in 1973.

Solid and courageous, White played as a centre-man, rover or half forward and was named at Half Forward in Norwood's Reserves Grand Final victories of 1975 and 1976.

Employed as a school teacher, he was transferred in his employment to Port Pirie and Norwood cleared him to the Proprietory Football Club for the 1977 season.
